Fall Day

It is a beautiful fall day. It's raining brightly coloured leaves, but most of the trees are still adorned in red, orange and (yes) green. The prophesies of a dull fall have been proven inaccurate. Even though it is the beginning of November, I've been outside in a tank top .. and was warm even before I started raking. I'm dying for some snow, but I could handle more days like this.

BEAUTIFUL!

OK so there is this dog that I may want. A new breed. It is called a Puggle. A cross between a Pug and a Beagle. Both of our fav breeds. BUT when I showed it to my husband he said he hated it and laughed at me. He now wants a Lab in white or black! or he will settle for a Pomeranian (sp?). ok HOW drastic are those two dogs. Sheesh.

ok just had to vent! LOL Have a great week! I will be pretty busy most all day up until the evenings ALL WEEK so talk to you soon and chat in the attic is ON! See you then if not sooner :)

Dear Janey

Oh, after all these years I do miss the maple trees!
Not only are they magnificent in the fall, but they give the scenery a certain "frockery" that only they can. The pines, spruce, fir & larch around here are beautiful, but not quite the same.
"Frockery" is a word I made up & is the only way I can find to describe it.
I think your Dad is wonderful by combining something he loves with something so important.
I'd love to know where in eastern Ontario you are from. The Ottawa valley, by any chance? I hail (hale?) from just north of Lachute(Arundel)in the Laurentians. Are you familiar with the area?
When I have a moment I'll check out Kodiak's blog, too.
Have a wonderful fall day!

mDear Janey

Hey, my aunt & uncle lived in Alexandria! Jus outside of town up the concession road from Glen Norman.
We used to go to the Maxville highland games every summer, too.
I was through Cornwall just a few years ago.
Small world!

Thanks Janey!

Sending love & well-wishes from anywhere always helps.
In a way, my friend is very lucky.

It is a small world for sure!

Love

Hi, Janey, and thanks for stopping by my blog. It really is great to see someone else from the South US on Rachel's map because everyone in my neighborhood seems to be into country music. I love your pictures of fall--it's beautiful here, too. Take care!

Hi Janey,

Excellent picture. Thank you.

My Son and I were blessed today with the sight of two white doves flying together. I put pictures up on my blog to share with you.

Peace, love and light to you and yours.
